Faster Backstroke Package

The Faster Backstroke Package is a set of eight progressive swim practices that get you swimming faster in races.

Each practice introduces a set of drills and swims focused on one feature in an efficient and powerful backstroke technique. The practices are ideal for high school, club and Masters swimmers, or anyone who wants to swim a faster backstroke.

Each practice focuses on a key area of improvement, including:

• Body position and rotation for maximum power
• “High elbow” catch in the backstroke
• Arm speed in the recovery
• Attaining a good feeling for fast backstroke

Durable, waterproof cards makes it easy to use at the pool. Use them more than once, or pass on to a friend or swim buddy.

A QR code printed on each practice links to video drills organized progressively to develop a faster backstroke.

All practices are developed by Carl Millholland, principal of Swim Faster Madison, who has coached over 100 swimmers — from adult beginners to state champions — in private 1-on-1 sessions.
